1. I Liked It, Too
And I agree with you regarding the new concepts for shows...I just wish they started in September and ended in May! I'm an oldtimer and can't remember to watch tv at off times, and I don't watch enough to see the ads for the upcoming shows! lol

3. I hear ya, and then the network will change the time and day....
like with the Mentalist....it's now moving to THURSDAY!!??? I think they're just repeats of the original season show, but still why move them. I'm gonna consciously remember this Royal Pains show.

2. I watched it and liked it, too. Definitely something different, which is
always nice. My hubby thought it was something that wasn't sustainable, though. Said he thought they would run out of new and interesting "emergencies" and ways of dealing with them pretty quickly.

The cable channels are really outshining the networks with original programming.

4. USA Shows have smaller seasons and can explore arcs better..
I think there are usually 10-12 show per season...

8. i like the actors
but was utterly disgusted by the excesses of the wealthy portrayed in it. Is that a realistic depiction?

I hope this show calls out the super-wealthy on their outrageous wasteful lifestyles. Anyone who makes that much money did not work for it.
