Wag the Dog
Watched it years ago and didn't like it that much. Rented it recently and thought it was excellent. I guess the Bush years have ramped up the cynicism quotient quite a bit. Dustin Hoffman (bigshot Hollywood producer) was hilarious. What an a-hole! One funny sub-theme was Ann Heche (Presidential adviser) being very worried about illegal aliens yet having not a care in the world about faking a war.

1. McCain May Have Broken Security Laws To Aid Georgia
Yah, the tail can wag the dog.

Biden is a foreign policy expert. The issue of McCain's personal role in the Georgian aggression is a character issue, that Biden will jump on. Last January, the Georgian tyrant won a fixed election with only 52.8% of the vote, and that was with much of the opposition in jail or facing charges. McCain-Bush "freedom" lovers backed Saakashvili even as Georgians turned against him. And it is likely that secure data was given to McCain in breach of public trust, and violation of US Code 50.15:

1. Did McCain advise the Georgian president, M Saakashvili, that the US would back up his country in the event of a Russian invasion, notwithstanding specifity and legality of cause, and did he have access to secure data (protected under USC 50.15) and base both his current counsel and promises should he win the presidential election, on secure data?

2. Did McCain discuss secure data with any aide or advisor, who owed fiduciary obligations to the government of Georgia, and if so who passed same to the Senator, and under what circumstances and authority?

3. Did US advisors accompany Georgian tank crews when they invaded the autonomous zone of South Ossetia, notwithstanding agreements to resolve disputes peacefully and to respect the role of lawful Peacekeepers?

4. Was military technology, restricted from sale to Russia, used by front line Georgian troops, and was any of same abandoned to the Russians when Georgians cast off equipment, weapons, uniforms and flags?

5. Were US military satellites focused on the South Ossetian city of Tskhinvali, on the morning of August 8, 2008, to assess damage from the artillery barrage that commenced shortly after midnight, and culminated with a tank assault?

6. Did US advisors advise Saakashvili to order a night attack, when satellite evidence would not be attainable?

7. Has any US government official either gathered evidence of personal effects on victims of the Saakashvili-Barrage and, if not, should the American public treat that negligence as foundation for belief that a coverup is in gear?

8. After Russian troops entered Georgia, why did the US President recommended - with the compliance of McCain - a status quo withdrawl - with half of Tshkinvali's population in Russian refugee camps?

9. Why was Condi Rice sent to Georgia to support Saakashvili, while unresolved war crime accusations of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and intentional and indiscriminate targeting of civilians, were live issues?

10. In context of the President's inhumane status quo pullout demands of the Russian Federation and his accusations - echoed by McCain - that Russians had imperial intentions in entering Georgia, was the decision to send Condi Rice into an alleged "hot-zone," based on an attempt to obstruct justice in face of Russian investigative efforts as to the cause of the war crimes inflicted on the people of South Ossetia?

11. In light of the IJC's definition of "command responsibility" - ability and authority to prevent and punish war crimes - does President Bush - in league with McCain - bear same, in reference to Georgian opposition parties and groups - Justice Party; Anti-Soros Group - that have been jailed, beaten and denied the right to peaceful protest, because they assert that Saakashvili is a foreign managed "puppet" and his government is a "stooge" of the Bush-McCain regime?

12. In light of Bush's affirmation of self-exhoneratory regulation, regarding substantiated reports that captive Taliban prisoners - under the control of the CIA - were either murdered by Northern Alliance soldiers in truck containers or left to die, is there draft regulation, under Presidential authority, that abridges any other authority that might seek to bring Bush and accessories to justice, for violation of USC 50?

13. Would McCain enable full disclosure of Secret Service witnesses to conversations between himself and Saakashvili and his aides and their Georgian counterparts, in formal disposition executed by Congressional examiners?

14. Would McCain enable full disclosure of the phone records of himself and his advisors, with special notice to phone calls between the above and Georgian counterparts, including Saakashvili, with disclosure including content of same?

In truth it probably wasn't that much. Is there a group name for rigged democracies ?

BTW. You went to a lot of trouble with that which might better have been posted in GD in its own right.

3. With a post count of 1, antisoros probably can't start a thread yet.
But you could do it for him or her.

6. New Post
Friday's Child:

You are right. I can't start a thread for a couple of weeks. Would you start one?

What do we call it? I suggest: MIDNIGHT-MASSACRE: McCAIN STRONG WAGS THE DOG.
That refers to the McCain' puppet's launch of a artillery strike that ethnically
cleansed half of the people of South Ossetia'S capitol.

I have a good knowledge of substantiation obligations, viz US Code 50 ("National
Security"). McCain could be made to sweat if that material got out there.

Bush is scared shitless of an Obama government. The Russians could try him as
a war criminal; the Democratic controlled Congress could relieve him of presidential
immunity, viz his complicity ("command responsibility") in the Afghan-Massacre.

I believe that the MIDNIGHT-MASSACRE was McCain's biggest campaign move; our
counter-move must be bigger.

Choice: McCAIN IS TOAST; OR NOT TOAST. He is rolling on the 1956, 1968 BS on
the Georgian nationalists.

sorry for the error.

I propose a new thread: MIDNIGHT-MASSACRE: McCAIN WAGS THE GEORGIAN DOG

I don't have thread privileges yet.

The Russian Youtube has videos made by Russian and Israeli advisors to Georgia.

4. Midnight-Massacre
Russian blogs are reporting that there is evidence that US advisors assisted Georgia's artillery/tank attacks on civilians. There is proof that Saakashvili went on Georgian state TV - he has banned criticism of his implementation of Neo-Con nation-building plans - 2 hours before the midnight attack (ie: no satellites) and
promised "autonomy" to South Ossetia. With Bush-McCain connivance he has blamed the Russians for his attacks on civilians. Big Media refuses to report eye witness accounts that corroborate Russian claims of Georgian aggression. Further, they are covering up Russian capture of military technology that cannot
be sold to Russia. I suspect that while Russians were properly gathering evidence of war crimes, Bush sent Condi Rice to Tblisi to support his obstructive demand for a status quo pullback, in order to conduce accession to his complicity in war crimes.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=210&topic_id=23331&mesg_id=23332

Saakashvili is no saint. He was Justice Minister in the government of Eduard Shevardnadze, but quit when US billionaire, George Soros ("Open Society Institute of Georgia") put him on his payroll and promised to finance a youth agitator unit. Said unit was instrumental in instigating the "Rose Revolution" of 2003.
Saakashvili won election the following year with 80% of the votes, on a national unity and anti corruption platform. On election, he immediately began to implement Neo-Con policies, with the usual catastrophe. Although Soros opposes the GWOT and has compared Bush to Hitler, Bush took notice of Saakashvili, when he needed bozos for his retarded "Coalition of the Willing." The Georgian leader sent more troops than any other of Bush's tinpot partners in idiocy. Bush rewarded him with military advisers and cash outlays. Further, Bush dragged Israel into the conflict. (Georgia's Defense Minister has dual Georgia-Israel citizenship).

Bush visited Georgia in 2005, after huge protest groupings formed, with the Anti-Soros Group referring to Saakashvili as a US "puppet" and his regime as "stooges." With the "puppet's" support in freefall, Bush hailed Georgia as a "full partner" and sought to drag the country into NATO. Effectively that would integrate American
collective security with a country that has been associated with Russia for centuries. In my estimate, about a third of Georgians are pro-Russia. Another half are wary but habitable. By November of 2007, Saakashvili turned Bush Strong Man and began shutting down critical media, jailing critics and opposition politicians,
suppressing voter registration, and setting up a version of central control similar to the Soviet apparatchuk system. In spite of a controlled political system, and limited voter choice, Saakashvili was able to squeak out election on January 5, 2008, with 52.8% of the vote. European observers reported triplicate voting by
members of the new bureaucrat class. (The demonstration for Condi Rice was attended ONLY by said class; the turnout was only 15,000)

What about the Georgian military? You have heard of "patria o muerte" (country or death)? They abandoned military vehicles, weapons, weapons, and flags. It is suspected that escapees are under US protective custody, even as Russia prepares a substantiable war crimes case against Saakashvili and his criminal partners.

Saakashvili is a functional paranoid, prone to use deflective violence to assuage guilt. He participated in the Shevardnadze government that murdered the first elected post-Soviet leader, Vliad Gamsakhurdia, who was elected in 1991 on a supremacist "Georgia for the Georgians" slogan. Americans have seen videos of Gori City Hall, with a statue in front. Said statue of Stalin. Gamsakhurdia has acquired the same reveration from Georgian nationalists (about 10% of the population). Saakashvili was front man in the coverup of the said murder. Now he adopts the policies of that supremacist. You know of his denial of South Ossetian autonomy. He operates the same policy, with respect to the 5 other oppressed ethnic minorities of Georgia. Armenians have rioted in protest of his duplicitious claims to conduce "freedom" while he forces Georgian on them. Saakashvili is a tyrant and war criminal. McCain chose him as his regional Strong Man. His chief advisor, was on his payroll until last April. Said advisor will receive huge benefits from future "stooge" relations with the "puppet." Further midnight massacres and ethnic cleansings are in the planning books. An all this is done with US advisors on the front lines, protecting American weaponry, even as it is used in the slaughter.

Please check out the following psychological profile of Saakashvili. Caveat: it was released in 2006 and is obviously a product of Russian intelligence. That said, it is the product of skilled remote analysis. It is difficult to read in the noted website, but it can be downloaded as a PDF or text file, and
darkened.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/4794109/Mikhail-Saakashvili-A-Psychological-Study-of-the-Character

Remote psycho analysis is hardly objective. However, the profile is accurate. He has the same problem that others who practise lying-on-one's-feet have: emotions guide his judgment.
http://www.new.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=1019825981431&oid=22347223862

Why would he blame the Russians for damage caused by his Midnight-Massacre, if he didn't have other coverup/whitewash artists in his pocket? The Democratic Underground post above includes a video in which McCain's Strong Man claims to have spoken to the candidate "several times a day." Why? Is McCain getting secure data in violation of US Code 50. 15? There is sufficient foundation for a Congressional investigation. What would
Saakashvili and the millionaire houseboy discuss? What could US Secret Service agents tell of these conversations? (Confidentiality is not in breach, where there is a bona fide law enforcement/crime prevention cause enabling free disclosure).

Bush has good reason to want McCain in office. He is complicit in mass murder in Afghanistan. The transfer of captured Taliban in truck containers controlled by the Northern Alliance cannot be denied because there is video proof of same. There is also video proof - including body dump evidence - that Northern Alliance shot bullets indiscriminately into said containers, mid journey, and then left most to die. Again there is proof that the CIA
controlled the entire journey of the prisoners. Most of the Gitmo detainees were culled from pre-container captives. CIA operatives were videoed at journey's end. US intelligence and Bush were well aware that delays in the prisoner transfer were inordinate. As you may have seen in "Taxi to the Dark Side," many captives were innocents who were arrested and tortured - sometimes to death - on the basis of accusations from paid captors.
Chechen, Turkmen and others who joined the Taliban, are seen on video as part of a cash for captives scheme. They were all likely tortured to death. Bush had his Attorney General draft self-exhonerating regulation, under war powers provisions, to escape justice. Obama could countermand that order.

See Road to Guantanamo here. Full video can be downloaded for free:

Afghan Massacre:
http://freedocumentaries.org/film.php?id=82

A simple look at this series of maps reveals the insanity of integrating NATO's collective security obligations into the Caucasus. Success in the Balkans has given comfort to the Neo-Conmen. Once he is in NATO, Saakashvili will move on Armenia after cleansing Armenians out of Georgia. Further he will use territorial integrity and self determination to move on North Ossetia. Russians will react.
http://www.djavakhk.com/cartes.php?l=en

Watch one Neo-Conman atrocity in Eastern Europe collapse after another as people reject the ABM idiocy. Reagan's Star War's plans met a similar fate in Western Europe. History repeats.
