New promo posters from WATCHMEN film(dial-up warning)
These premiered at the San Diego Comic Con and are based on ads that appeared back in '86 when Watchmen was released. They substituted the actors for the drawings, but they are perfect re-creations of the artwork and the quotes on each are the same.

4. that's when you thrust a copy of the TPB
into their hands. The local comic shop got quite a few people come in to see what Watchmen was and sold some copies. Hopefully Warner Bros. is going to promote the hell out of the movie.

5. I'm trying my damndest not to be excited about this film.
But damn, they have geeked out on the detail to the comic, a very positive sign.

6. I am totally psyched for it.
Zach Snyder gets it. The trailer is 2 minutes of fanboy geekgasm.

7. Looks like Zach Snyder nailed it
It looks just like the graphic novel. Although I do wonder if there will be any full-frontal nudity involving Dr. Manhattan...
