Did anyone else just watch ABCFamily's "MiddleMen"?

I've never seen a show with so many references to other movies and shows except for Simpsons. I laughed so hard my asthma kicked in! The Avengers riff was particularly funny.

One of the funniest pilots I've seen since Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls.

1. I really enjoyed it too.

It's already set for a weekly record from my DVR.

I hear that the show gets even better after the pilot.

The two leads are immensely appealing and have a good chemistry.

Hopefully, it'll last.

From the description of the comic, the pilot sticks VERY close to the source.

Although I'm an avid comic book reader, this one had slipped past me on the stands.

I am going to try and track down the collected editions.

4. We thought it was amazingly funny.

The IMBD message boards panned it, and apparently, they've only filmed three episodes so far. *sigh* I'm beginning to think that it's going to fall victim to my curse--anything I like is automatically cancelled.

I went so far as to block ABC and ABC Family from my lineup.

5. Really? I hadn't heard of that boycott.

I guess it makes sense, but then I'd have to boycott pretty much everyone because of slanted news coverage and other crap.

Still, it's a really funny show.

6. I really liked it.

Very camp, but in a self acknowledging way.

That was as faithful a rendering of a comic book to screen as I've ever seen. Almost scene for scene.

And, you know, Gangster Gorilla. How can you go wrong?

7. Last night's was funny, too.

Not quite as funny (the pilot was sooooo funny!), but it still had great lines and campy acting. It was great!

9. Finally saw it. They stream them on the ABC family website

Another terrific episode.

Really loving this show. And I'm desperately in love with Wendy Watson.

Great female character. I haven't seen a strong woman like that on tv in awhile.
