The Teaching Company
does anyone else order cd's etc from them?

I have William Shakespeare , comedies, histories and tragedies, and several other literary Cd's and DVD's . The lectures are given by various university professors.

What do you think of this company?

2. 90% of what I have purchased from them is excellent...
...the only complaint I had with the other 10% was in the not-so-stellar delivery of the professor...not the content.

I have ordered 17 of their lecture series, all via download to i-tunes, and I have enjoyed them immensely.

The dvd's are kind of expensive, but most of their stuff goes on sale at heavy markdowns at different times during the year.

I also enjoy some professors more than others but most of it is just wonderful . I have ordered about five or six times , and I have a long wish list.

6. I just discovered their website a few days ago
and I am so happy to see a thread about it here. I was considering buying a couple DVD's that are on sale. The audio downloads are much less expensive but I like to see any illustrations they might be discussing.

15. I saw that one
and it sounds really interesting but if I like this one (Darwinian Revolution) I was thinking of getting Origins of Life. I tend to gravitate toward the same things I studied in college as a refresher and for a different perspective from the professors I had. I'm also looking at the literature courses.

Too many fascinating courses. I could have stayed in college forever, I wanted to major in so many different things!
