anyone seen Maxine Hong Kingston speak or a big fan of her books?
I cross posted this in the lounge to little effect.



I love her books and have always wanted to see her speak. She will be here at the Univ. tomorrow night, for free.

2. I've only read The Woman Warrior...
I found it to be quite powerful and I liked the style. What else would you recommend by her?

3. Tripmaster Monkey is fun ( a 60s romp through SF)
I also think she wrote one about her experience losing all her possessions and writings in one of the SF fires a few years ago.
