This one is good but not as heavily trafficked as I'd like.

6. There was a book of the month club here
where people would agree to read the same book and discuss it. That lasted for quite a while, so there must have been a sustaining interest, but it seems to have petered out. I never took part, mainly because the selections didn't much interest me. It should be easy enough to resume, if someone wanted to put in the time.
