3. No. I heard her on an NPR interview this afternoon. And although she seems
like a nice enough young lady, I kept thinking it was probably ghost-written (I may be wrong) and honestly I'm more interested in reading other books first (Biden's, Gores, Lou Dobbs for example).

The NPR interviewer only talked briefly about Jenna's experience and then moved onto politics. Jenna answered the first question (about Jenna's promoting condom use and her dad only promoting abstinence) and she answered it well.

Then the interviewer moved onto the War. Jenna said (and it sounded heartfelt) I just love my dad so much. (Kinda tugged at my heartstrings imaging how I would feel if i were in her shoes).

Then she said but I didn't come here to talk about him, so I'd really like to thank you for having me on to discuss my book.

Then the interview ended.

But no. No interest in reading her book.

4. I feel rather uncomfortable about the attacks on her and her sister...
they seem mean-spirited and, really, rather Republican in tone. If they weren't Dubya's kids no one would look at them twice, and they certainly wouldn't call them all the names they're called here.

5. I agree. She was asked about the "Bush should send his two daughters to
Iraq" sentiment and she said she totally understood -- and I'm sure she does.

That to me has always been an inane statement. Ridiculous and accomplishing nothing.

6. I agree with that
Going after the family - especially the kids - is always a low-class move.
