2.  I can't believe you are posting this again.
You have this posted as many as three times in almost every thread I have read whether it has any thing to do with the subject or not. I am particularly stamed that I have waited for information on this rally all night and now here your theory is posted again. All Your posts are this theory. What is the problem? I am sure you are violating Board rules.

6. Board rules
Well maybe she is just hoping for a response to it.

I agree it's bad form to repost something over and over, but how about a little constructive criticism?

Personally, I don't think it's a bad theory. I just didn't want to a 300 post thread to comment on it. Now that I am, lmk, it's a good theory, but I think people are looking for something they can prove. If we could get our hands on OH or decifer evoting machine computer codes, then we'd probably already be able to prove fraud.

But keep talking out loud, and from one newbie to another, welcome to DU!

They had to screw with more than Florida and Ohio because they needed the insurmountable popular vote to defuse and demoralize any challenge. They padded from sea to shining sea.

4. It says the Ohio Dems aren't planning any action of their own?
Didn't we have a post from them a few days ago supporting the recount? It almost sounds, per the second article, that the ohio dems caved. Also the tone of both these articles isn't as positive as I'd hoped and they totally leave out the mention of Kerry Jackson made earlier.Infact, their statement is Jackson saying"This isn't about Kerry"! This whole report is in conflict with the independent Pacifica report and the Free Press Report. Which do you think is correct????????

9. That IS weird, saracat...
I wonder why they reported that, too. I just checked the Ohio Dems website and their featured press release is still this one:

Monday, November 22, 2004

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

November 22, 2004

Ohio Democratic Party Seeks Volunteers to Help Recount.

COLUMBUS – Assuring Ohioans receive an accurate count of all votes cast for president has prompted the Democratic Party to participate in the initiative to recount the results of the Nov. 2 presidential election.

“As Senator Kerry stated in his concession speech in Boston, we do not necessarily expect the results of the election to change, however, we believe it necessary to make sure everyone's vote is counted fairly and accurately,” said Dennis White, Ohio Democratic Party chair.

Columbus Attorney Donald McTigue will lead the recount effort on behalf of Ohio Democrats. The party will be recruiting volunteer witnesses to assist in the recount process in all 88 counties.

10. It's just a typically poorly written and unresearched MSM story.
Edited on Mon Nov-29-04 03:56 AM by John Q. Citizen
In one of the earlier posts about Jackson's remarks, he was quoted as saying, "This isn't about the Kerry campaign, per se, but about our votes." or something to that effect. Perfectly good, but the reporter in this story is lazy and combines two statements out of many that went unreported.

I read a post earlier tonight by a DUer who attended one of the Jackson rallies and taped it. They posted a rough transcript of Jacksons remarks from the tape and they were much longer and detailed and much closer to the the independent Pacifica report and the Free Press Report.

So don't fret saracat, everything is the same as it ever was and at least we (those who know it smells) have some people on the ground in various places stirring up the pot, and we got some ink, albeit stupid ink.

Use the DU search function.

I'd try Jackson and Tape and Kerry as keywords

Good luck, kick it if you find it!

16. If the mainstream media covers it fairly at all...
...they'll be dragged kicking and screaming into the story. I wish only to sound rationally skeptical and not cynical here, but the very last thing the mainstream media wants to be confronted with is having to report objectively--fairly--on the election fraud. They serve their masters well. And they are loyal to them only.

7. I love how they balanced out it by printing this:
GOP Strategy To Get Out The Vote -- Did The Trick In Ohio

Before any of the money people can pull their advertising or subscriptions, they have to throw in the pro-Bush propanganda.

God forbid they just tell the truth...

18. Thank you for posting this!
I just searched Buzzflash, and not a mention, going to forward it there.

Also, I took a look and see at Yahoo news, and all they mentioned with the Miami Herald recount of those 17,000 votes (which is BS). Questions, if anyone knows. What was the increase of new voters in those counties, compared to the So. Florida counties? How many more provisional ballots in So. Florida? How long did it take to vote in those counties?

In my opinion, I have a feeling they are mixing apples and oranges. Yet the glaring headline is that the handcounts proved that those counties were on target. Oh, another thing! Isn't the Miami Herald a Conservative newspaper? Isn't it possible that there were some places in Florida that weren't tampered with, just in case?
