EVERYONE CALM YOUR ASSES DOWN!!! THE ELECTION IS NOT OVER.
REPEAT: THE ELECTION IS NOT OVER. ROVE AND THE WHORES WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO BELIEVE THAT IT IS, BUT IT'S NOT. THEY ARE FUCKING WITH YOUR MINDS AND EMOTIONS. TURN THE DAMN TV OFF AND STICK TO ONLINE INFO.

Merlin has been so kind as to post his number crunching for us. And at the very least, it will go to the courts. Why has everyone thrown in the towel? and so quickly too? I would like to think that if we could survive 4 years under this tyrannical bastard, we can survive another day or 2 weeks.

Just heard on cbs that Mary Bell Cahill has come out and stated that there are still 250,000 votes still to be counted along with the provisionals. They fully expect it to go for Kerry.

C'mon folks. The fight is FAR FROM OVER. IT's time to dig in our heels and rally to the very end--whenever that may be.

1. I think alot of people are just bummed
that the election is closer than we'd hoped. And that there is no landslide.

It's headed to the courts. 2000 redux. Only this time, we'll be fighting until we win.

26. Whoa whhoa bud....be cautious when you generalize. I havent given up by
any stretch of imagination, but am bummed that this election is this close. I really didnt imagine that so many people would drink the Bush Kool-Aid. With the record turnout (and I do think it is verrry fishy that the exit polls are way off only in Ohio and Florida) I really expected Zogby number of 311 for Kerry to hold up. So if I am bummed and worried, it doesnt mean I've quit. So chill and stop banging on our teammates who are in a bit of shock that this not the complete victory it should be.

2. get ready for the blame game
because we are being patient...we are keeping the will of the people down...we are dividing an already divided country...

we know damn well if the shoe was on the other foot...there would be contested and patience on their fucking side...

14. I fully expect it
I fully expect it... the blame game has begun

Folks we are gonna fight, and we are gonna win... the country cannot afford four more years

We all knew it would come to this

Some of us looked at the data... we knew this should have been over hours ago with a Kerry lansdlide

This is BBV

IT is also time to say no to the damn machines

28. i feel like i'm in some matrix movie. people vs. machines. this is insane
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 02:33 AM by progressivebebe
but i hope and pray to god there will be a disconcerted effort on getting rid of the machines after the election. at the very least, do what they do in Nevada: give us a receipt of our vote. but i'd rather do away with them altogether. numbers are easily fudged on software.

11. good! lets keep the heat on. it has always been a psyche game.
and we can't let them psyche us out. WE ARE GOING TO WIN. And at the VERY least, demand proper process. There is no giving up. That is not an option.

13. give it a couple hours because the tv does a whirlwind on your emotions.
they did mine earlier. i was a wreck until i got info on DU that was, of course, not ever mentioned on tv that made all the difference between heaven and hell. i truly believe they are insidious in their agenda to psyche us out.

this is our election and we are going to take it. every vote will be counted or there will be hell to pay. no mistake about it. but honestly, i don't think we need to worry just yet. lets wait until all the votes are counted.

8. PBS is reporting that it will take a while to sort out OHIO
they are going off the air with the election results. They believe it all hinges on Ohio. I agree don't fall for the rovian bs. We will have to work hard to get the populous not to drink that KoolAid.

Stay strong. First step was to GOTV. Second step is to get the votes counted. We can do it. Democracy isn't easy. It's hard work ;-)

20. i agree. we are supposed to get a receipt of our vote. how the hell
did they manage to reduce our voting to paperless bullshit? i don't know.

but i have faith in people power (even if half of us are pretty damn stupid). but we will educate people one repuke at a time.

we are angry, the record turnout and long lines are proof that we are taking back our country. get out of our way.

25. It can. Nevada has printouts . . .
. . . on ALL of its electronic voting machines. The question is — having had 4 years to get printouts in place, why is Nevada the only state to do this?

19. It's all part of Rove's plan...create the illusion of inevitable victory..
for Bush, despite enough uncounted votes in FL and OH for Kerry to win.
Create doubt by forcing thousands of ballots to be labeled "provisional", thus easier to discount, perhaps than even pregnant chads...

they will do ANYTHING and we need to prepare for this. i agree with you. they started earlier in the day with bush declaring himself a victor. :puke: i thought it was strange but i've thought so many things strange (big understatement) about this administration.
