How can we learn and grow as a community?
I think this is important to take in question. Right now we have a lot of information being thrown at us. People are going to be making mistakes. We are also going to make mistakes as well. How can we learn from them and protect each other at the same time?

First put yourself in the place of the other person who has just made a mistake. How would you feel if that was you? Another thing to think about is how do we not blame anyone? This is your chance as a community to speak on it. Respect and learning is important and this is one of the many ways we can grow that respect of others.

1. Not sure the background of this...
This has the flavor of a confrontation or something that has happened (not sure -- sounds like it).

However, I think that if you are talking about the election problems and theories, getting the press and/or other the Dem party involved (read: resources -- financial and expertise) helps a great deal. We have been swimming upstream with no party backing or any form of legitimacy, in the mind of the public at large, this entire time.

I think it's impossible to not be wrong about some of this, or that there won't be instances wherein there are explanations for some of the problems. The challenge at these times will be to not allow the other side to point at one what we get wrong, or that was explained away, and allow the entire picture to be painted with one brush.

Not sure what you were getting at but I took a stab...
