Remember that the exit polls showed a Kerry win....
....in many of the states that Bush has won. The networks all agreed not to publish the exit polls...saying that this was what misled them last time. But something is very wrong. People don't lie when they leave the poll booth.

I still believe that machines could easily be tampered with and controlled from outside sources. If this is a legitimate count, and Bush has the huge popular mandate they claim, - I really have to rethink my identity as an American. At this moment, its a label I no longer want. Forgive me for that... but I don't want to be counted among the majority that has given legitimacy to this murderer. If, indeed, Bush has won....

1. The exit polls have always reflected the actual election until 2000 and
2004.

3. A large segment of the population will not stand for this.

If it's "decided" before the morning comes, there will be a large fraction of the population, Repug and Dem, will object to any legal action at all. If a declaration is made before morning, I don't know that we'll have any ground to stand on, even if we're right. Perception may be more important than reality.

4. CNN has their exit polling info on their website..
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/states/OH/P/00/index.html

it shows Kerry winning 51% of the male vote & 53% of the female vote,
which would mean they were expecting him to win originally, if he had a majority of both genders.

5. I agree something is fishy.
I mean they cheated in 2000. It is not unthinkable.

6. "Not my president"
My new expression. I am independent of the government and I'm not listening to them. Perhaps we will form an autonomous region in the Northeast.

9. traditionally....exit polls were used to predict winners....
People don't generally lie to exit poll takers. Many are not media people - but people from the parties themselves. In the past, exit polls have always reflected the votes cast pretty accurately. I feel there is something very wrong. I cannot believe that Bush could get this huge a mandate. I really don't.
