DIEBOLD ELECTION SYSTEMS SIGNS STRATEGIC TEAMING AGREEMENT WITH SOE SOFTWAREWill offer dynamic election result presentations, enhanced election management, voter education and online training solutions ALLEN, Texas - Diebold Election Systems, the market leader in election system solutions, today announced a new strategic teaming relationship with SOE Software Corporation, the leading provider of on-line training and election planning software built for election officials. As a result of the agreement, Diebold Election Systems customers will have access to an even broader range of election services, including election worker on-line training, enhanced election results presentation, election information management and more.
Jurisdictions in many areas of the country already use the Clarity Elections Solution software from SOE to enhance their election process for their staff and voters.
“The capabilities of the SOE Clarity software system further augment the value of Diebold’s optical scan and touch-screen solutions, providing enhanced interaction for poll workers and voters alike,” said Dave Byrd, president, Diebold Election Systems. “Our agreement with SOE will enable Diebold Election Systems to broaden our election solution offering to our current and future customers in a number of important areas.”
SOE Software works with election officials across the country to provide voters with on-line, personalized access to a wide range of local election information, including dynamic sample ballots, polling locations and directions, campaign finance reporting and dynamic voting result presentations providing detailed election night information. The automation of these services increases election staff productivity, enabling workers to focus on tasks other than data and report requests.
