Learn about how the world's two oldest democracies, Switzerland and the United States, are adapting to the internet era. Swiss experts will discuss recent developments in using web-based platforms to decide on issues or cast votes on the cantonal (state) and the federal levels in Switzerland. U.S. experts will present the status of e-voting and comment on the challenges of adopting new voting technologies in the U.S. The panel will be followed by an audience Q&A.
