Stupid but important question
Now that the Democrats control Congress - will elections in the US be protected from fraud, like in other democratic countries? Especially, will all voting machines get a paper trail? Or can the states decide to use voting machines without a paper trail?

although, an amendment might fix it. (constitutional, i mean.) i may be wrong, but that's my take.

6. As I recall, President Carter and the Carter Center
would not have accepted to monitor the US election (as it has in about 83 other elections around the world.) That's how unaccountable our current system is.
