Fourth Quarter, and it is a Tie Ballgame

Funny how they have a TV review of all the plays now, but when it comes to counting the vote, there are almost never any reviews!

Wow, is this some game, or what?

It is a standoff; showdown coming at high noon just 45 days away, and our rag tag team is tied with the number one ranked team in the world.

The powerful offense of the Stolectioneers put up a big lead early in the game, but the defense of the Democrateers have risen up, and since halftime, have stopped the Stolectioneers from scoring.

The Democrateers, by intercepting a record number of passes in the second half, and returning some for touchdowns, have now tied the game.

Now the Democrateers offense has the ball, and the game is at the two minute warning.

Will we score and end up the winners? The whole world is watching.....

1. Like watching an invisible football game where everyone has to

take the sportscaster word for it. A football game with no scoreboard, the sportscaster gives you a split second view of the game being played, then the camera scans back to the sportscaster, where he says team R is ahead, but team D is in hot pursuit.

Then he comes back with the announcement that team R has won!!

with the occasional split second shot of the game, No one gets to see the game being played, no scoreboard to verify that there was a game, R fans are all happy, while D fans walk away in a huff, saying we'll get them next time, without even thinking anything more about it.

The players D and R, are all wealthy, they could care less what the score was as long as they keep getting paid to show up.

Oh wait, they can't!

They can't show a replay because it wasn't properly recorded in the first place. All we have is the mechanized announcer's word.

And you know, in the first half, the referees were never on the field while the pukes ran up the score. Only in the second half have the rules begun to be enforced.
