BOARD OF ELECTIONS SPONSORS
VOTING MACHINE DEMONSTRATION

The Nassau County Board of Elections is pleased to invite you to an Open House that we will be hosting on September 25, 2006 , at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Mitchel Field. The Open House, which will be called, "The Future of Voting", will be open to the public.

We have invited all eight Voting Machine Vendors that have been submitted to the New York State Board of Elections for Certification. This will allow the public to see for the first time which voting machines may be available in 2007.

The Voting Machine Vendors will be conducting ongoing machine demonstrations and mock voting from 3:00pm to 8:00pm , and will be available to answer questions. The Cradle of Aviation address is 1 Davis Avenue , Garden City , NY , adjacent to Nassau Community College .

The Nassau County Board of Elections will be seeking feedback from the public in the form of a questionnaire, which will assist us in our ongoing selection process.

We look forward to seeing you on September 25th, and appreciate your valued input. If you need further information, please call (516) 571-5944.

Sincerely yours,

John A, DeGrace --- William T, Biamonte
Republican Commissioner --- Democratic Commissioner

1. Are they announcing in advance
which vendors and what models will be there? It would be useful to come prepared with information about each model.

3. Good for Nassau Co! Now if this happens in Kings Co and Queens Co,
we just might start a movement.
