A Simple Audit of Paper Ballots
If you are lucky enough to have paper ballots, this is a way to do a quick and simple audit of those ballots.

Place the ballots in separate stacks, one stack for each candidate in the congressional race.

Eyeball the stacks to see how close the totals are. A fair estimate can be made of the totals.

Then run the ballots through the counter, one stack at a time, checking the totals as each stack is finished being counted.

If, as you run the individual stacks and votes are shown for one of the other candidates not in that stack, the machine obviously has miscounted and you have a problem.

That oughtta do 'er!

1. No Transparency = No Democracy and if you can't audit it, it's
not transparent.
