Randi Rhodes show from today... - Hacking The Vote
Did anyone listen?
Is there an audio file of this available?
Calling White Rose Soc.?

http://www.therandirhodesshow.com/live/

Israel widens the war. Every one is pissed except the Neocons who are now looking to renew their vows with Bush & Co.

Michael Savage articulates the Cheney mantra…kill ‘em all. And Limbaugh brings on Netanyahu. Are you starting to get it yet?!

Republican Senator Chuck Hagel: The generals say that we’re destroying the US Army.

And the US casts aside the germ warfare treaty and starts constructing a new bio weapons lab in Maryland so that these freaks can engineer a whole new generation of plagues…these are the same people who halt stem cell research. No worries though, this is all under Chertoff, so what could go wrong? GRRRR!

FYI, The Soviets likely lifted US bio weapons from Maryland in the 1980’s.

Meanwhile, a Diebold voting machine is hacked with nothing more than a screw driver. RFK Jr. & Mike Papantonio are suing the makers of the black boxes.

HOUR 2 GUEST: Mike Papantonio; attorney & co-host of Air America’s Ring of Fire.

The 9/11 Truth movement gets a shot in the arm with some national TV exposure on C-Span (VIDEO) and some scientific polling that demonstrates just how many unanswered questions there are.

Disney pulls the plug on a Mel Gibson Holocaust mini-series. The story should be that Disney green lit this in the first place. WTF? And Kansas contemplates rejoining the 21st century.

These stories and much more on today’s Randi Rhodes Show.

2. Will someone PLEASE TELL Randi that the vendors DO make
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 12:39 PM by Bill Bored
DREs with voter-verified paper trails!

On the segment with Pap, she kept saying they don't, and why don't they?, etc. BUT THEY DO!

The problem, among other things, is that there are no laws to require their purchase or use, except in the states that have passed such laws. And in most of those states, there is no law requiring an audit.

It's a sad state of affairs when Lou Dobbs (CNN -- the dreaded MainStreamMedia) knows more about e-voting than Air America, but hey -- no one said this job was going to be easy! Pap would make a great guest on Dobbs once this lawsuit can be discussed openly.

Randi appears to be uninformed, although of course, she's on the right side of this issue.

The lawsuit will hopefully uncover enough dirt to show that the vendors knowingly allowed these machines to be insecure, inaccurate, unreliable and not even fully accessible to the disabled, and that the companies have defrauded the government. But at this point in time, to say they don't MAKE machines with VVPATs is untrue.

3. Bill are you rox.... someone recons you are... I am curious if tis so...
I don't think you are btw..

Regarding the lawsuit. Personally I think RFK has been dragged up a blind alley - an alley which is likely to stay blind till November 2006. Not because there won't be lots of wonderful discovery but because Qui Tam's can get tied up by corrupt judges. And coz everything is secret it is kinda hard to do anything about it.

I hope I am wrong.

4. I'm worried about the secrecy thing, too
and that this might get delayed by the courts. Fingers crossed that all will go well.

5. Al, not everything on DU that contains a grain of truth emanates from Rox!
No I'm not her, but her sister BoredToDeath and I did go to different schools together.:patriot: You may be thinking of her, but she's not Rox either as far as I know. (A lot of people reckon she is though.)

The suit may bare some fruit but as you say it won't be in time for Nov. Abu Gonzales has 60 days to decide it he's going to take the case and he can get a 50-day extension too. After that, Pap, Bobby, et al can take over.

One advantage of having the Justice Dept. handle it is that the voting machine execs could end up in GITMO or something. The advantage of Pap and Bobby handling it is that they might actually try to win the case.
