I guess the ones that are so doing are the ones that don't realize that Hugo Chavez owns stock in one of the e-voting firms!!!

Two can always play....

6. Done Yes 4,000, No 86--but one problem
"until their integrity can be assured."

I hope this isn't used as a way of saying we support them if their integrity can be assured. Assurance is cheap. That's why we have to talk about a need for a "basis for confidence" in our elections, not just "confidence." We don't want what doctors call "vitamin R," which means "reassurance." We want real, honest, transparent, verifiable and verified elections!

8. I voted in that poll after you posted and
the vote total is still showing 4086. Is Diebold doing the counting, I wonder?

11. Just wait 'til they announce the results and...
...they announce that the online vote was hacked, or fell victim to a glitch.

16. 'X' marks the spot for me

I believe the paper ballot works just fine, and is a lot harder to scam, imho. Perhaps more labour intensive, but definitely better than an electronic system.
