"VIDEO THE VOTE" Nov 2 2004 in Coumbus OH-NEVER FORGET IT!
Local film maker Linda Byrket put together this film of voting in Columbus Ohio on Nov 2, 2004. For any lingering doubters, please watch this film and see why us activists REFUSE to drop the subject:

1. I wish John Kerry would watch this film-watch the crowds of Af Am voters
who waited in those long names determined to cast their votes for him, chanting "Kerry, Kerry" and expressing their determination to vote for change. Listen to the testimony from the election protection folks, also determined to make sure every vote counts despite the dirty tricks, and knowing their efforts were being undermined.

NEVER FORGET!

Edited on Mon Jun-12-06 08:05 PM by ooglymoogly
hear no evil say no evil while instantly conceding leaving all those who supported him and knew the fraud...hanging....to fight alone like sheets in the wind...to organize to send people down to observe the counting of the vote...all without a leader.

7. I am really PISSED that Kerry is letting RFK Jr take so much heat over
telling the truth (of course not to mention the rest of us) . Bobby has lost his father and his uncle for this country. He is doing this because he truly believes, as most of us here do, that the truth must be exposed. He should be fighting for environmental causes but has the guts to stand up and do the right thing. He didn't NEED to do this. It certainly isn't helping his career, and isn't profitting from it. He is doing it, as we all are, to serve our country in the best way he knows.

WTF is wrong with our "leaders" who are afraid of standing up to bullies in order to fight for our democracy. Bobby told it like it is today in the WNYC interview: When asked how so many could coordinate the silence on the theft, Bobby stated what us in Ohio have been screaming since Nov 3rd-IT WAS SO BLATANT! There was no secret how it was done. The purges, the mis-allocation of machines, the destroying of registrations, the non counting of Provisional ballots from certain precincts, the failure for expats to use the web to manuver the complicated system and never receiving their ballots, the caging and challenges and of course the good old fashioned stuffing (ie faux Homeland Security Alert and punch card ballots that didn't line up with the machine).

We here in Ohio have been willing to take the ridicule, devout our time, money and efforts toward this investigation but when they allow a good man like RFK Jr, whose family has gone through so much, to take the brunt of the wrath, they are not worthy to be considered leaders. When they allow low income African Americans, who had to fight so hard for the right to vote in this country and then turn their backs on these voters willing to stand for many hours in the cold Nov rain-SHAME ON THEM.

I remember hearing how JFK was Kerry's hero-well time what a G D way to show it-allowing his nephew to do his dirty work. SHAME!!!!!

in Cols Ohio (which really saw a lot of attention during the campaign) but when he failed to deliver his promise to make sure every vote counted (did you watch the film? Did you hear the voters standing in the cold rain chanting his name despite the circumstances? ) and when I see how he is allowing Bobby to take this heat, I am beyond words.

I've lost friends and family members over this ordeal, but look at what brushing this under the proverbial rug has done to our country, the world and the planet. Ridicule me, I don't care. Truth is truth and I stand firmly by my assertions.

10. Ridicule?
I should have included a "sarcasm" smilie. Ask anyone in that forum their opinion of me. "Personna non grata" would be the kindest response.

11. I meant it toward the Kerry devotees. I believe those on this forum are
committed to the truth. Sorry that wasn't clear.

5. Got to hand it to the Ohio activists....
.... if every state had the same zest, we'd've just about crushed our opposition by now. I'm a little envious of yall. NGU.

12. there might be a new "Ohio" or "Florida"
in the upcoming elections. I would suggest that EVERY DEM with a video camera go out on election day and get footage just in case. Video footage may be the best chance to prove irregularities. I am very nervous about Ohio going to Blackwell even though the polls would suggest otherwise.

13. Elections should be transparent with public access and videotaping, but as
many discovered in Ohio, the officials don't want cameras.
