Zero Tolerance for Election Fraud
Why does the system tolerate votes being miscounted, voters being denied from voting, and in general all the other shenanigans elections have devolved into?

Why don't we declare America shall have ZERO TOLERANCE for election fraud?

1. such uncertainty wouldn't be allowed in FOOTBALL
or any SPORT! imagine how it would be reported in SPORTS SECTIONS across the country, if points were awarded and games were decided without every play and every action being scrutinized.

it's supposed to be character-building in sports. the idea being that people will develop this in other areas of life -- that MATTER.

ZERO TOLERANCE is a good meme!

3. It's far more than just uncertainty, votes miscounted and Dem votes
suppressed by illegal tactics. Between 2002 and 2004, an election system--engineered by the biggest crooks in Congress, Tom Delay and Bob Ney (abetted by Christopher Dodd)--was put into place, nationwide, that is controlled by BUSHITE corporations using "TRADE SECRET," PROPRIETARY programming code with virtually no audit/recount controls. This was the result of the $4 billion electronic voting boondoggle called the "Help America Vote for Bush Act" (ahem, the "Help America Vote Act"). Our elections are now not just NON-TRANSPARENT and UNVERIFIABLE, they have been taken over by private corporations with very close ties to the Republican Party and far rightwing causes. Two of them dominate as vendors of this election theft machinery--Diebold and ES&S, which are run by two brothers, Tod and Bob Urosevich. Diebold, until recently, had a Bush-Cheney campaign chair and "Pioneer" fundraiser as its CEO; ES&S, a spinoff of Diebold (similar computer architecture) was initially funded by rightwing billionaire Howard Ahmanson, who also gave one million dollars to the extremist 'christian' Chalcedon Foundation (which touts the death penalty for homosexuals, among other things.) Together Diebold and ES&S "counted" 80% of the nation's votes in 2004, behind a veil of secrecy.

To me, that does not add up to uncertainty. It adds up to a fascist coup.

-------------------------

Throw Diebold, ES&S and all election theft machines into 'Boston Harbor' NOW!

5. What you are proposing is truly REVOLUTIONARY...New America
and I'm 100% in favor of it.

We have 1/2 the people not voting, they say it makes no difference.

Well, it doesn't on one level.

They knock out votes in PREDOMINANTLY MINORITY PRECINCTS to the tune of 1-2 MILLION every
presidential cycle. You think people gripe about that. Some of us do, but the "system"
doesn't give a shit, quite frankly. They write it off to 'stupid" voters, but that's been
TOTALLY DEBUNKED. It's deliberate choices to give minority precincts lousy equipment, choices
that can be masked as budgetary or some other lame excuse. IT HAPPENS EVERY PRESIDENTIAL CYCLE
and during other elections.

REVOLUTIONARY...let all who should vote vote, count all the votes, do it in a transparent fashion.

K&R

8. Zero tolerance means Capital Punishment (yes, really)
We should all be demanding the death penalty for proven conspiracy to commit election fraud involving more than 5 votes.

(Relax liberals -- the sentence can be comuted.)

There's no reason not to make election theft a capital crime.

And no better way to send and spread the message that this is more important than other problems, even terrorism.
