Ion Sancho and Brad Friedman on radio tonight, Thursday
Special:
Election Guests on Radio tonight, Thursday.

Ion Sancho and Brad Friedman

8:05 pm EST
. . . 7:05 pm CST
. . . . . 6:05 pm MST
. . . . . . . 5:05 pm PST

Ion Sancho, the Supervisor of Elections for Leon County, Florida who invited the Red Team hack of his county's Diebold optical scan equipment, will lead off. After a demonstration by two computer experts, Ion discovered that his voting equipment COULD be hacked, leaving no trace. Since then, vendors and state election officials have been attempting to leave him with NO election equipment, and even threatened to run him out of office. Activists are calling Sancho a national hero.

Following him will be Brad Friedman, of www.bradblog.com, who will discuss the latest election whistleblower (who worked for Hart InterCivic and then Tarrant County, Texas) and other election reform topics.

Time: 7:05 pm CST to 7:40 pm CST.

Host: Pokey Anderson
This is a special guest stint on The Progressive Forum, KPFT - Pacifica, Houston.
Pokey is regular co-host of The Monitor on Sundays at 6 pm CST on KPFT, where she has been covering election reform stories for 3 years.

The Progressive Forum -- Thursday, March 16, 2006

Sancho said that local citizens are coming up to him wherever he goes -- grocery store, restaurants -- and giving him support, saying they have his back. They seem to understand what he's doing, and why.

6. Download it. A 'Must Hear'!
The interview segment actually starts four and a half minutes (go to mark 4:30) into the show and ends about forty-two minutes in (mark 42:21.) An excellent use of 38 minutes in my day.
