I had to "crack the whip," so to speak on all the toys scattered about.

I had decided to get my motorcycle license so when the weather was nice I could take the Wide Glide to and from work. I hate giving my money to blivet*'s friends and won't even go into peak oil and all that. I couldn't get a class until July but ask to be on a waiting list. They called today and I started classes tonight. So crossing fingers this rider will learn well enough to pass the test by Sunday. Was in class tonight and have to be there by 7 am tomorrow. So home now and off to bed.
Gizmo has not started crying again though he still just eats and sleeps. At least he isn't hurting and is eating so figure I will look at what is good first and count everyday with him as a lucky one.
Whirls will be thinking of you tomorrow. Though it might be hard, the best thing you can do is let you sister in law talk about brother in law whenever she wants. If she doesn't tell ask her to tell you stories about them together. It really helps to know people won't look at you like you are crazy or run away when you talk about them. I still talk about Beau allot and have learned to tell people to get over it if they wonder. I will always be Beau's mom and he was my world for most of my life. I also know there are never any right words. I never had them for me and told people if I didn't have them why should they. shrug. As for you should you want to tell b-i-l stories I am all ears.
Clark this goes for you too. As hard as it is for you and Ramzey your mom has lost her mom. If you need to talk about who you have lost I am here and betting so is everyone on the KOEB. (That is for grandmom and even Blue because we do grieve our 4 legged family members too.)
I did tape Keith and will try to watch him before Sunday. Playing catch up on the bike course cause everyone else got their books a couple weeks ago.

Your best bet for capturing a whole particular Countdown ad (I have found) is to watch Tweety (sorry, seems to be the most dependable option) just before his show that night. Start recording when the commercial break begins, because whatever the last commercial is, it's likely to be an MSNBC promo of some kind. If it turns out to be for Scaryborough or someone you can always erase and start over. But at least that way you get the whole ad and not just the tail end when you realize it's on and hit "record." That takes too long.

sorry i have been mia..but i was moving a few weeks ago and fell down the stairs..i had already yrs ago broken my tail bone..and the little part off..but this time i broke the main bone..so i had a heck of a time sitting..well i couldnt sit or stand..i could only walk around in circles..or lay on the couch with the heating pad on my back..side...or ice the damn thing..and i was on serious pain pills...i was and still am in agony...but at least now i can sit for short periods...before it was too sporatic...

anyway..thats minor compared to what andy is going through..so i am not complaining...and this past week when i could have been on here i moved back up to nj for the summer and then have been working on getting andy into the hospital for his surgery...

so if you all move will you let me know..when my life gets straightened out i will be back with you!!

My mother broke her coccyx in a fall long ago and she was astonished at how painful it was. Our rear ends are considered funny for whatever weird psychological reason, but pain is not funny at all. I hope you heal quickly and can soon get back to sitting and lying down without having to think twice about it.

Andy is fortunate to have such caring friends. Getting him into Johns Hopkins may be literally a life-saver, as you well know. Thank you for what you've done for him despite your own pain. I hope he has seen how all of DU has been rallying behind him, it's been wondeful to see. But getting him into that hospital with the best care was key.
