1. Thank you TIA
I read every thread you post. This one I actually understand. I am not a very math savvy person, but I have the same goal as yourself.

2. Hmmm, and what's the percentage loss in the relevant indices
over the same period?

The market in general has sucked since Bush got selected in 2000, 9/11 notwithstanding. Yet another area where he has been given a pass by the MSM. It must be one of the worst performing 4-5 year periods in history. FYI the stock market has historically done better under Dem administrations anyway, but with these clowns, you'd have been better off with your money in your mattress since Nov. 2000!

Personally, I think some of this stems from the people's lack of confidence in the legitimacy of the 2000 and 2004 elections, whether they realize it consciously or not. You don't bet the farm on a dictatorship and you have to have some confidence in your country and your economy to risk your capital or your savings on stocks.

Other than cutting the dividend tax, which does nothing to spur economic growth and favors utilities and oil companies, the ShrubCons have done nothing to help the financial markets. Whatever money has been made in the last few years has been strictly limited to their cronies who have been profiteering off the war, right?

If they want anyone to invest in private accounts, the first thing they need to do is get the heck out of office and find someone who knows how to grow the economy!

What percentage of Diebold's earnings are from Election Systems anyway?

3. The more they fight....
The more the people grow. Now wanting to blame the entire election on voter fraud, the voters are rigging elections.
