Blackwell Discusses Problems at Lucas County BOE
by Paul Stelzer
Before his official remarks at the Lincoln Day Dinner, Secretary of State Blackwell told NBC 24 he agrees with his advisors' recommendation to remove all four board members. Blackwell's office will hold a hearing on the matter later this month.
Blackwell, a Republican, says, "Our folks will make the case that we think we need a fundamental change in leadership. The chemistry of this board is dysfunctional."

Democratic board member Paula Ross says she is still waiting for more information from Blackwell's office before deciding how to handle the hearing.
Of the hearing, Blackwell says, "(The board members) will come to Columbus. The case will be made for their removal. And they will have ample opportunity to make their case for staying, if they so desire."
Noe says the report is biased and full of inaccuracies.
