16. Yes.. that surprised me.
Past blasters I have always cross-posted with noooo problem. This is the first time any have been locked. I ask Why in ATA. Skinner guessed it was a multiple post thing. If they were going to do something like this, I don't know why they chose those two (in the most active forums). The GD thread was realy taking off (considering it was the wee hours of the morn), and already had three recommendations out of ten posts. Too bad.

4. I seem to be a little slow-minded today, but I can't seem to grok which...
...url to click on, to tell 391 nationa media contacts to cover this event. Could you give a clue--or repeat that url here?

If it's the Media Blaster at
http://www.independentmediasource.com/voteintegrity2_12.htm

then I know what to do. Is that it? Or some special media list? And how do I get there?

-------

I don't see US Count Votes, Kathy Dopp, Steven Freeman or any of that long list of Ph.D.'s who have cried foul on the 2004 election on the list of speakers. Any of them going to the conference?

Edited on Thu Apr-07-05 06:45 AM by tommcintyre
I'll copy and paste this to other postings for the blaster.

EDIT: I've added a subject line to the blaster for it:

"Rep. Cynthia McKinney will be the keynote for the NATIONAL ELECTION REFORM CONFERENCE"

6. I know how you feel... ;)
Click on either:

"Tell the National Media to Cover the National Election Reform/Investigation Conference" <above>

or on one of the links:

http://www.independentmediasource.com/voteintegrity.htm

That link you're trying to use is an old one that I think you were using for one of your weekly blasters.

As far as the copy/list goes, that's what was PM'd to me. I have received a PM with changes today (looks like just typos and a modification of the headline). (I just got back so I have had no chance to correct it.)

I've added the following to the blaster message:

Update - April 7, 2005:
Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-Georgia) has been added as the closing keynote speaker for the National Election Reform Conference. She joins a stellar lineup of speakers and discussion group leaders, conference attendees from 26 states and over 60 supporting organizations. The conference will be filmed by six documentarians and will be web-cast (audio) shortly after the conference ends.
