(around 83 or 84)and waitressed at a truck stop somewhere between Philly and DC on the midnight shift a large group of guys came in. They weren't in my station but were talking loud enough that everyone could hear the Gaelic accented English. I asked their waitress if she knew where they were from of who they were. She said all their shirts had a U2 on their polo shirts. She thought they might be a soccer team. They were giving her a bit of a hard time over that. I of course knew who U2 was and went over to say hi and that I knew they weren't a soccer team at all. Sat and talked with them for a little while. It was the band and the roadies.

We actually got a few bands in that just finished playing in Philly and were headed to DC.
