There is something that's very scary to repukes - that liberals can have babies, too!

I just realized that they make lots of jokes about hoping liberals have been sterilized and that this is something they actually seriously worry about!

We should take them up on it and have LOTS of kids (gays should adopt). If every couple has 3+ kids over the next few years, we should be set to overrun them in most places in 18 - 20 years.

3. Adopt

from foreign orphanages. We adopted unwanted siblings who are being raised to honor true democracy and that voting Democratic is the only way to protect that freedom. There are thousands of unwanted children in foreign orphanages.

Well, I'm knocked up with my first right now, but it'll probably be my only. I'm 35 and too financially insecure to consider a second child right now. Although, who knows? Motherhood may agree with me, and I just might become a socialist fundamentalist home-schooling buddha-loving anarchist-raising mommy of six.

In the meantime, I'm doing my damnedest to influence all the nieces and nephews living under the thumb of their grandfather (my father-in-law).

The local UU church, that is! Their Sunday school is usually lots of fun. Your FIL couldn't object to that could he? Course if he does, that'll make you the good guy in the little one's eyes and he becomes the heavy.

AND, get this! He used to be a Democrat.

My husband says he thinks that his dad moved over to the Dark Side in the early or mid 70's... Perhaps a combination of seeing all the progressive leaders get assassinated, wanting guns, and not wanting to be a loser.

I won't do regular church either, but I'll join a sangha in my neighborhood if I can find one.

8. Convince them to have only one child.

The Bible is the literal word of God right? One man and one woman, one times one is still one. Having extra children is a sin. A bit silly but I don't exactly respect conservative evangelicals for their intellect.

I agree with the folks who are promoting adoption. Grab yourself some thrown-away kids and save them!
