93,000 extra votes in Cuyahoga County question
I know Cuyahoga county went strongly for Kerry this time, and Gore last time... but it seems like it went more for Kerry (67%) thanGore and Nader combined (65.5%)

Is there a possibility that these are Kerry votes? I know that if a good deal of them were/are Bush votes, then Kerry will win because he will get the vast majority of provisional ballots, but aren't the chances that, if it is a machine glitch (ha!) that the extra votes will take away from Kerry?

3. The easiest place to add Republican votes is in a totally strong Dem Area
so long as the proportion remains reasonable (Kerry should have beat Gore by a bunch this time around) or in a very strong Republican Area.

7. That seems to have been the pattern in FL
You might check some of the FL links in this thread for some supporting documentation on that (if you're interested):

2. Fair is Fair.
I want fairness, do not worry if it might hurt us, if it is wrong it is wrong. Don't think like reep's. We want accountability and honesty. Let's get to the bottom of this. If Kerry got extra unvoted votes and we bring light to it, it will just make us look like what we are, honest!

4. Agreed.
Let's examine those Kerry counties to see if he unfairly took votes from George. Perhaps George really had a landslide. It's only right we give him what he's due.

Everything he's due.

6. from what I saw
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 12:28 PM by kerry2win
in the returns from the Kerry areas of cuyahoga where he had 70-95%, suprisingly the turnout was 35%-50% in most areas which really suprised me. So something is definetly wrong if those no.s are correct. The feeling I got in this area is a strong commitment to show up and make themselves heard ,which was not the case in 2000. I know gore won the county by 150,000 or so but I wouldn't of been suprised with Kerry winning it by 300,000 with the anger and increased voter registration in the county strongly favoring the dems and even ind strongly for Kerry. IN BUSH AREAS THE TURNOUT AVG WAS EXTREMELY HIGHER SOMETIMES OVER 100% GO FIGURE THIS COUNTY ALONE COULD CHANGE THE WHOLE PRESIDENCY!!!

IT SEEMS TO ME BUSH WON THE SCAN/OP COUNTIES BY 250,000 MORE THAN IN 2000 IN HIS STRONGHOLDS(FLORIDA) SO WHY COULDN'T KERRY DOUBLE HIS MARGIN HERE

well, i live in cuyahoga county, an i can tellyou that the amount of voters in the morning were horrendous. when i got to my local polling facility, there was a line of about 100 people. i turned around and left.

later in the afternoon, i returned and voted. there was nobody else voting at that time, and my polling place has 4 precincts.

13. Hmmmmm....That's funny....
I never once saw easy poll access in Ohio reported on TV that day......but lines, lines, lines....
but then maybe that's why working people had to stand in line in the rain until 3:15 AM, because they were at work at 4PM. I'm glad there are pictures of all this. How many cameras were passed out?
