F.B.I. Preliminary Interviews In Ohio
From the Enquirer:

...BATAVIA - The Federal Bureau of Investigation is interviewing members of the Clermont County Board of Elections because of a Democratic Congressman's claim of vote-tampering during the presidential election.

The allegations stem from white oval-shaped stickers, about the size of an M&M, placed on fewer than 100 ballots

The FBI is responding to a letter from Rep. John Conyers Jr., D-Mich., requesting an investigation "of vote-tampering if not outright fraud" based on recount observers' statements

-----------------------more-------------------------

The article goes on to say that the interviews will determine whether or not an investigation is warranted.

Note: I had difficulty posting the link. The link can be found in LBN, if someone would be kind enough to help.

4. If you believe the FBI is there to find the truth, I have some swamp land.

From the link

"Poll workers used them on Election Day to correct mistaken votes and determine intent on the optical scan ballots. Some voters, for example, marked their vote, but also etched a small mark in the space for another candidate, which threw off the machines."

In other words, poll workers determined that some voters voted for Kerry when they should have voted for Bush. Poll workers knew this because the Kery oval wasnt completely filled in, so they corrected the error by attaching an oval over the Kerry circle and then filling in the Bush circle.

This is so incredibly illegal it has me hopping mad, and yet the FBI under Gonzales is at this very moment coaching these people in how to avoid being caught and prosecuted. We need to take this out of the hands of the FBI before they have a chance to corrupt the evidence.

 :bounce:  :bounce:

I am going to email the members of the House Judiciary Committee NOW and tell them what I think of this explanation. I encourage others to do the same. These should have been spoiled ballots under the law. At best Bush voters received asssitance Kerry voters did not. At worst, Kerry voters had their voters switched to Bush.

5. Here is the email I sent Sensenbrenner. Sent copy to Olbermann too
Dear Rep. Sensenbrenner;

I wish to complain about a travesty of an FBI investigation in Ohio. According to a news report, we are supposed to accept that poll workers were entitled to take stickers and place them on ballots:

“Poll workers used them on Election Day to correct mistaken votes and determine intent on the optical scan ballots. Some voters, for example, marked their vote, but also etched a small mark in the space for another candidate, which threw off the machines.”

This is absurd. At best, this is poll workers giving preferential treatment to Bush voters by taking their spoiled ballots and making them readable. However, it is also possible that they choose Kerry votes in which the circle was not completely filled in, covered the Kerry circle with an oval and then filled in the Bush circle.

It is to prevent the possibility of fraud like this that laws exist which prevent poll workers from tampering with ballots by, for instance, putting oval stickers on them.

These people broke the law, and the FBI under Gonzales is conducting a white wash. I call upon the House Judiciary Committee to do its job of oversight.

8. Here is the email I sent the author of the article
You have got to be kidding. At best, poll workers gave Bush voters preferential treatment by fixing their spoiled ballots so that they would be read (Recall that the witnesses said that the stickers covered only Kerry circles). At worst, the poll workers found ballots in which Kerry circles were incompletely marked, put oval circles on them and then filled in the Bush circles.

It is to prevent the possibility of fraud like this that poll workers are forbidden to alter ballots. There is no excuse for what was done. Your article is a whitewash. If the FBI is really going along with this story, then the FBI and Alberto Gonzales are conducting a white wash, too, and therefore I have already contacted Rep. Sensenbrenner and Conyers of the House Judiciary Committee and sent them both copies of your article.

I guess I should thank you for letting the world know how the Department of Justice may be planning to resolve this situation so that steps can be taken to conduct a parallel investigation or even an investigation of the investigation.

11. I'm cautious as well
All of this 'breaking news' regarding Ohio has me suspicious. I, too, do not put much faith in the FBI under Gonzales. Like I said in another thread, we should continue to apply pressure & demand justice, but we should also keep an ever watchful eye open for what ever it is that the BFEE may be trying to pull. They have been masterful in the art of the illusionist; distract with one hand while the other hand is creating a 'trick'.

14. SOS Shelley is one of the many things that I have my eye on
The first time that I heard that Arnold was talking about gerrymandering, I felt that California would be the nest Ohio (which was the next Florida).

It's hard to tell, really. There is so much going on ie. propaganda coming from the WH, mid-east policy, SS, and the fake budget that was handed to Congress. But could there be something else???

I don't know, but I'm watching.
