Ick! I must be on my state GOP e-list... they are planning Election Reform

Looks like because I am an officer and director in several state and national equine and agriculture groups, I somehow got on the e-mail list of the Pennsylvania House Republican Caucus. Ooooo, I just feel so, SO special!

Anyway, for all you lucky DU readers, here is the beginning of their exciting e-mail to me... I just can't WAIT for all this wonderful stuff! Sounds like that faaabbbulous "Contract With America" all over again!

Republican members of Pennsylvania's House and Senate have unveiled a "Playbook for Progress" - a game plan for moving Pennsylvania forward. This aggressive plan is designed to make Pennsylvania a better place in which to live and work.

The highlight of the plan: good news for taxpayers with a strategy to roll back the state's personal income tax and put the brakes on the growth of state spending. Yeah, and probably cut all the programs too.

The Playbook for Progress also calls for:
Election reforms
- ensure that Pennsylvanians serving overseas in the military are allowed to vote.
Um, aren't they "allowed" to vote NOW???
 - improve Election Day operations.
Like what, hire Blackwell and Diebold away from Ohio???
- complete the implementation of a statewide voter registration system.
Big brother is Watching
