So WTF is wrong with the voters exactly?
Its starting to mirror 2000 exactly.

How can after 4 years and these two exactly opposite candidates and this war, etc, can it stay the same?

I just dont get it.

1. Ever doubt how stupid the average American is?
Just look at what they watch on television--survivor, batchelor, plastic surgery makeover shows, assorted dim-wits making asses of themselves on national tv, people eating insects and the anuses of farm animals. I swear sometimes it seems like a bad dream.

3. People are choosing faith over rationality.
In many senses.

People believe that they can pick thier reality like they pick a beer. People have to choose to apply rational thought to things, many people choose not to.

5. As long as no one cancels their favorite TV show, many Americans..
...wouldn't care if a brick was president.

They just want to watch TV! TV tells them Bush is good. TV tells them Kerry is bad. What do you expect?

11. FOX News and right wing talk radio have penetrated gullible people's minds
There are an unbelievable number of people in this country who have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the new conservative media. Rupert Murdoch and Sean Hannity have made strong inroads on the soft-minded in this nation. I guess "sheeple" is the accurate term to use.
