Found some historical exit polls from US general election
http://search.icpsr.umich.edu/ICPSR/query.html?col=abstract&op0=%2B&tx0=voter+news+service+general+election+exit+polls+series&ty0=p&fl0=series%3A&op1=-&tx1=restricted&ty1=w&fl1=availability%3A&op2=+&tx2=ICPSR&ty2=w&fl2=archive%3A&nh=50&rf=3

I didn't register and download them, but this looks like it's it.

I've seen lots of media spin claiming the exit polls 2000 were wrong,
but I believe they were not, if all the votes were counted
and all of the butterfly people hadn't voted for Buchanan.

but getting error rates on exit polls versus actual is really
going to help out.

Although the methodology this year did change...but as far I know
they increased sample sizes and actually tightened it up to be more accurate!

The investigative hunt continues.

1. Very important
So in reaction to livid GOP browbeating in 2000 they made them MORE accurate? 2002 is key too.

How reliable are they integrity wise?

This is much needed and needs to be correlated.

2. here are the historical vote tallies per county
so you can take the two databases and compare error percentage.

I'm putting this up because people were looking for this.

I may run the numbers here also in terms of exit polls historical
accuracy.
