1. but-but-but
Some people on this board say that it was only a few people here and there who believe that their votes weren't counted! Only a few deranged conspiracy theorists!!

4. I believe it was 20 % that thought Bush didn't win the election honestly.
Edited on Fri Jan-14-05 09:54 PM by Amaryllis
I remember KO talking about it and saying one in five is a lot for a conspiracy theory.
Not being confident their vote didn't count is a little different than not thinking Bush won honestly but either way it's a lot of people. Some mandate...

18. And they were polling two different things, right? CNN was do you think
the election was honest and Annenberg was do you have confidence your vote was counted?

12. Yeah, the percent goes up every time it is counted!

So we are getting somewhere!

For that matter, Americans have plenty of damn good reasons to be "conspiracy theorists".

7. Believe it...most Americans have no clue what he represents...
unfortunately. It's up to us, 527s and most importantly, the DNC to start aggressively reframing issues and hammering the GOP.

27. I don't believe it.
We're supposed to accept that all Republicans and some Democrats voted for him, but I know that quite a few Republicans didn't vote for him. Which means that I have to believe that either 1) quite a few Democrats crossed party lines to vote for him or 2) the election was rigged.

I know which one seems more likely to me.

15. More and more and more...No Confidence Resolution is empowering!
Integrity, Truth and Honor. Nothing more. Nothing less. This is pretty incredible:

The Eureka Times-Standard published an opinion piece today on supporting the No Confidence Resolution. Such pieces normally appear on the paper's website, and the editor assured me this would too. But since it is only available in print thus far I invite you to read it in the GuvWurld blog:

http://guvwurld.blogspot.com/2005/01/building-confidenc...

This is powerful! All Americans must expect and demand no less!

16. Also check out the related questions in the (in)famous Mitofsky exit poll.
WITH THE MOE OF THIS POLL, THE ODDS ARE OVER 17-ZILLION TO 1 AGAINST EVERYONE THINKING THEIR VOTE WAS COUNTED CORRECTLY!!! ;)

But seriously, there are a lot of doubters. Something to mention in your letters to Congress and state officials. (See these exit polls are good for something after all.) :)

Edited on Sat Jan-15-05 07:05 PM by Mistwell
Where do you get 30%?

"Confidence that vote was accurately counted"
"Somewhat Doubtful Reps 2% Dems 12% All 6%"
"Very doubtful Reps 1% Dems 7% All 4%"

ALL is the important category.
6% + 4%=10%.

Where did you get 30% from that article?

23. Percentage keeps going up.
That means we are doing our duty by getting the information out there. Up 5% since beginning of the month and it is only the 16th. I'd say that's pretty good progress.
