massive fraud in NH and PA......but dems did it, so discussion dropped???
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=203x274883#274903

this is claimed in post 20.....

can anyone confirm/deny this claim?????

#20 You are wrong on this

"it was *almost all of those cases examined in key states.* Those irregularities broke for Bush, which is statistically impossible unless fraud was involved."

See, the problem is, that is outright false. Key states include New Hampshire and Pennsylvania, for example. Massive fraud was reported in both, and yet BOTH issues were dropped because the fraud was from the Democratic side and we didn't want to hurt our chances.

But all fraud is unacceptable, just so as we're clear.

If anyone wants to prove election fraud, take it the whole nine yards.

there was the most severe suppression of the minority voters there I've ever seen. An election official lost his job, but the minority voters didn't get to vote.

3. i know in penn there was an accusation from repugs
about how when they went into to use the machine there was already over a thousand votes on it for kerry. they took those machines down, and about three hours after news reported it came back to say the republicans were wrong. they had looked at the wrong number. that was the amount of vote that had been recorded on the machine from previous election. that it was at zero.

so if there is something on the dems in penn i want to know what. the only thing i heard was discounted by all

They should investigate these claims AND all the others.

Tell everyone you know if you haven't yet! :o

5. Doubtful
Exit polls had Kerry up substantially...but the race was not called until late in the evening (less than 1/2MM voters, too) and it was a squeaker. I think Nader did recount, but the sampling done was didn't change the results. I have heard nothing of any voting irregularities there.

Do really know much about PA, though.

9. I know there are some sites that were logging all instances of voter
complaints. IIRC, a huge percentage were problems with filed by Kerry voters. I'll bet for every recorded instance, there were 100 that never got recorded or reported.

15. check over at FR

They'll at least know what is being talked about; they may not have any ability to distinguish truth and falsehoods, but they'll know any and all things of that variety.

19. I think that it would be best to ask the poster to verify
and if they cant come up with supporting documentation then your questions are answered.

Any voting irregularities need to be brought to light and addressed, but considering the fact that almost all documented irregularities have been in one way or another helping re-elect our Alfred E Neuman born again poster child *, and its been two months and counting, I highly doubt the posters claims.

17. Dems are who had big problems; Dem voters weren't able to vote in Philly
Edited on Tue Jan-11-05 12:42 AM by berniew1
due to major touchscreen reliability problems. Most of the machines in many Dem precincts did not work and none worked in some precincts. Pollworkers did not know what to do. Sent voters home in some cases; voters just left in others due to extremely long lines, totally disrupted process. Thus had very low turnout in many Dem precincts since machines were down most of the day. This is not the way to run an election. The touchscreens were extremely unreliable and had vote fraud in most swing states and many other states. Some touchscreens in Philly were defaulting to Bush when
voter voted straight party ticket. Poor programming?

20. about the only thing I'd concede this time
is the Popular vote. I'm not absolutely sure Kerry won the Popular vote. Even pre-election polls were indicating he was leading, but not necessarily in the overall national Popular vote. In key states, though, Kerry'd been leading enough and often enough, that I think he won the Electoral College. Look at the states that Kerry needed besides what he got:
Ohio--we've seen the problems there.
Florida--we've seen the problems there.
or some combination of:
Colorado--where Kerry sometimes led; and there were machine breakdowns and a slow count there.
Nevada--voters disenfranchised by a bogus voter registration drive that a statewide judge refused to fix. Plurality for Bush in 2000.
New Mexico--"phantom" votes, etc. Gore carried it.
The combination of the three above, without either Ohio or Florida, would have put Kerry over, and he'd had leads in all three.
Iowa--where machine breakdowns and a slow count. Gore carried it.
Arkansas--power failure on election day, Clinton in the fray, polls tightening to a dead heat, then a tie, then, suddenly, Bush jumps into a lead in the only Southern state besides Florida where Kerry'd held a lead and where Bush was seldom above 50% even when leading.
Arkansas plus Iowa plus New Mexico also equals 270 w/0 OH or FL.
But even if Kerry carried all those states, he could still trail Bush in the Popular vote. But he'd have beaten the tar out of him in the Electoral College.
And I haven't seen anything about any of those states, in all of which Kerry held numerous leads in pre-election polls, in which there were any "glitches" that did anything but help Bush.
