Why didn't that Vermont Independent vote yea?
His speech was superb. The only I is a nay vote.

She was the senator who joined Stephanie Tubbs Jones, representative from Ohio, in lending her name to the objection. They need one representative and one senator to register an objection and, in 2000, not one senator would step up to the plate. This really is a historic victory, take my word for it. They didn't expect to win, but just to get the chance to be heard. And they certainly did, with great eloquence. The Republicans weren't listening, but the American people were, and that's who they were speaking for.

When I first read your headline, I thought it said, "Why didn't that varmint Independent vote yea?" lol It wasn't until I read the rest of your post that I realized what it really said.
Sorry to get off topic, but it made me laugh when I realized my eyes had sent the wrong message.
