http://miamedia.com/news/2004-12-28.efax.your.senator.html

Read the instructions, some of the addresses don't work, but if you use multiple email accounts, (I used the kids as well), you can fax to everyone on this list.

3 1/2 hours to go, We can do this!!

6. done, for the top six...letter below
Dear Senator,

I canvassed, I phoned, I argued, I donated, I supported, I cajoled, I persuaded, I wrote, I stood, I registered, I voted.

It didn't matter.

Losing the right to vote is unacceptable.

I admire your work, but if you and the Democratic Party do not step forward to protest the irregularities, voter suppression, conflicts of interest, and fraud in this past election, I will never support you or any other Democrat for any race again. In fact, I will do everything in my power--I will devote my time and energy and MONEY--to persuade people NOT to vote for any Democrat.

Why? You belong to the party of the people. If you do not stand to defend them, to defend the right of every person to vote and to have that vote counted accurately, what is the purpose of voting? I pledge I will do everything in my power to lobby and argue everyone I can out of the notion they should ever support a party that doesn't value votes.

Unless you remember what it means to be an American, and what it means to uphold your oath to defend the Constitution.

Sincerely,

7. Did it but faxed directly to Frist and Hastert as per Kerry's email
Dear Mr. (Hastert or Frist)
Here's the letter

On January 6th, I am asking you to allow Senators and Representatives of conscience to have a voice and hear the challenge of the electoral vote count. The misallocation of voting machines (especially in Ohio), the abuse of provisional balloting in numerous states, and the refusal and/or inability to conduct the recount in an open and auditable manner in Ohio, in Florida, and in so many other key states, should be cause enough to determine the certified electors should not be seated.

These congress members are standing up and are fighting for the voting rights of African-Americans, Latinos, and the youth voters who appear to have been targeted for disruption and disenfranchisement in the 2004 election. These congress members intend show the world what we mean when we talk about true democracy.

January 6th is the day we Americans must make a statement about our commitment to every American’s right to vote and have it be counted.
Sincerely,

12. short and sweet Hastert / Frist letters (as per Kerry's letter):
Dear Speaker Hastert / Senator Frist,

I urge you to conduct a full investigation of reported voting irregularities in the November 2, 2004 election, and to act swiftly and decisively to implement all necessary measures to prevent even the appearance of future voting irregularities, voter intimidation, or election tampering from interfering with our most important civil right as citizens, our right to vote.

Thank you,
Sincerely,
