Vote machine fraud in Texas; default to Bush
10/22/2004 Machine malfunction TX Travis County. Voters who vote a straight party Democratic ticket see their presidential votes have changed to Bush on the review screen.

10/18/2004 Machine malfunction TX Bexar County. iVotronics register incorrect votes. The theory is that voters inadvertently rested a hand on the screen. (this was default pattern)

11/4/2004 Machine malfunction TX Wichita County. More than 6,900 of about 26,000 ballots - mostly early votes - did not record votes for president with 10 of 52 precincts reporting. Similar problems were noted on all other races. Election officials believe ES&S machines are counting
votes correctly but that computer programs that process results are malfunctioning. No one knows what the problem is

1. In Indiana it was default Dem to minor party
11/11/2004 Machine malfunction IN Franklin County. Optical scan equipment counted straight- party votes for Democratic candidates as Libertarian votes; 9 counties may be affected.

including Florida and Ohio. What's up with "No pattern. Move along folks"? Bush wanted his mandate and needed to "win" the popular vote.

4. Good God! Story after story of these defaults
If I'd had to vote on one of those touch-screen machines, and if I'd seen "Bush" come up after touching the name "Kerry", I would've had one hell of a conniption fit!

Those of us who find our voting changed to this method next election, are we gonna have to just smash out the screens or something? Or are we gonna do something now?
