I want to remind everybody of another senator who is sympathetic to our causes--Senator Byrd of W. Virginia. Please contact him and ask him to help Representative Conyers in stopping the election and investigating the fraud that occurred!

don't make the case based on suppression of the minority vote. Byrd has not been on the side of defending civil rights violations (was a former KKKer, after all).

There is a better case to be made if one discusses disenfranchisement in a more general sense--as a loss of the ability to form a representative government by, of and for the people. Speak to Byrd in terms of the constitution.
