Doubts Persist About Election Results (AP)
"As the Electoral College (news - web sites) prepares to certify President Bush (news - web sites)'s re-election on Monday, concerns persist about the integrity of the nation's voting system — particularly in Ohio, where details continue to emerge of technology failures, voter confusion and overcrowded polling stations in minority and poor neighborhoods."

2. RACHEL KONRAD, Associated Press Writer,
what a grasp you have of electoral politics to suggest the margin of "victory" was 3.5 million votes.

"Few mainstream politicians dispute Bush's victory, and the incumbent's 3.5 million-vote margin nationwide was wider than any of the reported problems..."

What a hack.

6. also now that the full count (such as it is) is coming out about 1 million
has been shaved off the differential I hear. So its more like 2.6 Million. Can anybody confirm?

3. "We definitely did not have a glitch-free election,"
"but we still plan on making that son-of-a-glitch president," said EAC chairman DeForest Soaries Jr., a Bush appointee.

Great article!

12. It seems that the recent election fraud stories
are coming more vigorusly before Monday. Now my tinfoil hat :tinfoilhat: is a recent highly prized acquisition, but where were these people before? What has really changed? I guess this means some folks independently understand that next week is really going to be important in the scheme of things!

13. best MSM article i've seen so far (not counting BMore Sun)
yay!
that said, she fell into the "incumbent's 3.5 million-vote margin nationwide was wider than any of the reported problems" trap. like the total has any sigficance given the fact there was fraud. but she quickly followed that quote up with "brazen partisan shenanigans."

the other thing that bothered me was "local election workers have been unable to reproduce the (Gahana) error." she seemed to imply that was a good thing. no RACHEL, they can't reproduce it b/c it wasn't an error!

all in all though, i'm really hoping this AP story gets picked up.
