My son is coming to Australia on work. What should he bring?
I think he'll be in your country for about ten days. Does he need anything (electric current converter, for example) or is there anything you'd recommend for him to bring along?

2. Australian electricity works on 240 Volts...
so if he has some sort of converter it might be a good idea. Other than that, things aren't too expensive compared to US prices, so cash will do just fine for everything else.

Oh, and kangaroo repellant if he plans to go out alone at night :)

5. I'll second that
although we don't actually know that sunscreen prevents cancer it does stop you burning and in and of itself that's a good thing.

Depends where he's going - Melbourne this time of year is notoriously fickle - 4 seasons in one day kinda thing so an assortment of clothes would be good.
