Wroth a try to try to persuade them Murdoch is an illegal creep who shouldn't be given even more control of British media.

I'd already got the 38 Degrees one. Both duly signed.

4. Can't sign this one in Oz, but I already signed the one from Avaaz.
The man is scum, and should be checked.

He already controls 70% of Australian newspapers, and both major political parties are now too scared of him to deny him anything. I suspect it's the same in Britain.

Our political masters haven't done the right thing by us, the people.

5. The newspaper percentages are lower here
He owns The Times (and Sunday Times), still considered by many to be the paper of record as well as The Sun (and its Sunday equivalent The News of the World) which has the highest circulation figures.

The current issue is with his control of Sky Television, which is the only major satelitte television company in Britain with a large proportion of the market.

There is no doubt that he wants to control the British media market just as he does the Australian.

Both major political parties fawn after him to a sickening extent, precisely because they're scared of his power...

So, fundamentally, yes it's the same here in Britain.
