Cameron 'to abandon plans to change forest ownership'
Ministers are preparing to ditch controversial plans to sell thousands of acres of state-owned woodland in England, the BBC understands.

Government sources said they would announce on Friday that the current consultation be halted.

Instead, it is understood a new panel of experts will be set up to look at public access and biodiversity within the publicly owned woodland.

David Cameron hinted on Wednesday that he was backing away from the policy.

The main issue here is public access. Any woodlands subsequently sold now at a later date need to be done in a bullet proof way to ensure permanent public access by covenant with onerous penalties including imprisonment for those who try to duck out of that condition.

2. e.g. The NHS sell off.
Oh, or do I mean reform? Yes, those American health insurance companies are circling like blood crazed sharks because they want to do us a favour. And Daniel Hannan isn't really in an orgasmic frenzy.
