Can anyone fill me in?
I've been touring the world for the last three or four months, pretty much cut off from the world bobbing about in a boat first in the mid-atlantic & then the gulf of mexico.

So what's been happening in the world since I left mid-November? Anything important?

Thanks chaps & chapesses.

1. That's a big bill you expect us to fill.
Are you familiar with search?

"So what's been happening in the world since I left mid-November? Anything important?"

Depends on your point of view. Lots is happening/going on, if you are so inclined.
Otherwise, please enlighten us with your trip! Some positive stuff from around the world is always welcome.
Or negative; since you've been around the world, what does the rest of the world think of the US?

5. My trip?

The second part was on an American ship & therefore full of Americans. They were roughly divided in two, the crew being mostly Bushies & the science party being mostly Dems. I was in Mexico, where we (& Americans in general - except for cruise ships) weren't very popular (we managed to cause an international incident). Panama, no-one noticed us (only there for 48 hours). Portugal, where people complained about the Spanish & EU. & that was it.

On edit:

read about it here

3. David and Victoria Beckham named their new baby "Chav"
or something like that. I think that's the most important piece of news.

Bush did reveal himself as the AntiChrist in his inauguration speech, but I think we'd all been assuming that, hadn't we? Charles and Camilla want to get married, but can't find an Elvis impersonator willing to do it.

4. David Blunkett whitened his beard, put on weight and rebranded himself ...

as Charles Clarke.

Michael Howard found a large lady in Warrington who told him that the NHS was a failure.

Tony Bliar told some porkies. Michael Howard told some bigger porkies. So Bliar said that he was telling porkies.

Charles Kennedy says that his party is "the real alternative" because when the Bliarites have a vote to take away civil liberties, the LibberDabbers protest by staying away from the House of Commons. Which, it has to be admitted, is pretty unusual.

Think that's about it.

The Skin

PS "Chav" is Spanish for "girl".
