There once was a time in human history known as a democracy, when large numbers of people were willing to exercise the freedoms hard-won by previous generations and make their objections clearly known to their elected representatives. However, this ‘exercise’ did begin to eventually sound like too much hard work and after all, what was it to their comfortable lifestyles that half way across the world some uneducated and unwashed unfortunates were being slaughtered for the benefit of their own richest elites? No news was good news, and any news was entertainment. And as long as they were entertained, they was no reason complain.

Even the Stop the War Coalition only claimed 2.2 million protestors for the February 15 2003 march!

And yes, I went on 6 anti-war marches between September 2002 and May 2003. Good fun in a just cause but I'm not of the "withdraw all troops now" viewpoint so I'm no longer involved.
