Just heard it on CBC.

Whatever happened to "let's stay there until the job is done?"

1. Another phrase that won't be heard from Harper any time soon:
"cut 'n' run"

2. Oh, he says it all right
In fact, I fired off an email to my MP (Scott Reid) the minute I heard those very words leave Harper's mouth.

Harper seems to think Republican tactics and weasel words will work on Canadians.

Think again, Stevie.

3. What's the context?
I can't understand why he'd use the phrase in any context now, and risk being labeled a flip-flopper.

4. He used the phrase sometime in the last year or so

Sorry for late response.

But he said something like "Canadian troops will not cut 'n run from this fight"

You know, the usual macho-he-man response to ENDING a useless, dead-end military action. (e.g. "Pull Out? Doesn't sound manly to me. I say, leave it in there, let's get the job done!")

It's been used since Vietnam, only now our OWN PM is using it.
