And I thought the whole Jon Stewart/Norm Macdonald segment was a scream, too. I don't imagine it's probably very easy to break Stewart up like that. But Norm is da man.

What was with Norm saying although he's Canadian, he likes America better?

I had heard a few days ago, that Norm had renounced his Canadian citizenship on "The View" recently.

Anyone know what's going on with him?

It rankled me somewhat as well that he said that, but on the other hand, if he publicly ridicules Peter MacKay on international television and helps to cement him and the Alliance Conservatives to the Bush government in the minds of the Canadians, he's doing Canada a great service, and thus I'm tempted to forgive him his comment.

Things like this could inspire young Canadians, who normally don't vote all that much, but who do watch Stewart and Colbert in droves, to get out and vote against the Harperists. It could be the tipping point in a lot of close ridings.
