Canadian killed in Afghan suicide attack

A Canadian soldier was killed and three others injured Tuesday in a suicide attack in southern Afghanistan.

One civilian was also killed in the blast, which occurred when a suicide bomber plowed his car into a Canadian military patrol in southern Afghanistan, officials said.

The names of the soldiers have not been released.

Two hours after the attack, officials said, a Canadian soldier shot dead an Afghan teenager and injured a young boy when a motorcycle broke through the security perimeter around the bombing site. The incident is being investigated by the military's National Investigation Service.

2. Good question! At least when the mission was peace-keeping and

reconstruction, the mission made sense, sadly, no longer. I am hoping those that support this atrocity will come and spell out exactly what is being accomplished here beyond dead Afghanis, Canadians, etc.
