CAW President Takes Aim at Harper

The President of the Canadian Auto Workers Union condemned Prime Minister Stephen Harper for AIDS, Afghanistan and the Middle East on Tuesday.

In an 80 minute speech to delegates at the CAW's constitutional convention, Buzz Hargrove criticized the Conservative government more than a dozen times.

Hargrove condemned the Harper Government for its decision to extend the military mission in Afghanistan.

Hargrove called Harper's decision not to attend or speak to the International AIDS conference held in Toronto a "damn disgrace."
